
ATG has recently commenced sales of its Sprintex® Series Five Supercharger range to aftermarket supercharger system manufacturers.
Orders for superchargers to be delivered to August already exceed the total volume of superchargers sold in the year to 30th June 2010.
ATG has current orders for Sprintex® units to be included in specialist systems, from China, USA and Europe.
In the motorcycle market, the recently introduced Vee Two Super Clutch has already sold 60 units in Japan alone. TUV approval has now been achieved for Vee Two Ducati Supercharger systems and the first pre-sold order of systems has been delivered to the German Distributor.
In addition, the Company has recently completed a number of pre-production systems in the motor vehicle market for the Honda Jazz (Fit). These systems will be trialled by ATG’s aftermarket distributors in Asia, USA and Europe and a potential OEM customer, prior to a product launch in September.
ATG has also commenced a marketing plan targeting the four-wheel-drive (4WD) market in Australia, where the Company acts as its own distributor. ATG dealers have reported an immediate increase in enquires for 4WD supercharger systems. ATG has commenced sales with the popular Toyota Landcruiser models and will introduce systems to suit Jeep Wrangler and Cherokee (all models) and Toyota Hilux and Prado during the remainder of 2010.
September will see ATG attending the Specialist Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Beijing, supporting Chinese Distributor Huachuang Zhenxin Automobile Technology as they launch two ATG supercharger systems and two systems of their own, for the rapidly growing small car performance market in the region.
ATG’s engineering dept is currently developing an OEM replacement supercharger system to suit the BMW Mini Cooper S. More than 200,000 of the relevant model have been sold and most of these vehicles will require a supercharger replacement over the coming four to five years. ATG will launch its OEM replacement and power upgrade for the Mini at the USA SEMA show, to be held in early November.
